Developing a Feature-Rich Reference Design for Blackfin Based Surveillance DVR
Overview Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) is an S&P 500 company and a global manufacturer of high-performance integrated circuits used in analog and digital signal processing applications. The significant challenges encountered in extending rich features to the new reference design and achieving cost reduction were: enabling simultaneous store, stream and playback (triple play) at 30 frames per second per channel; developing an architecture based on existing designs to maximize design re-use; and execute performance hungry algorithms efficiently. MindTree's expertise in security domain and turnkey product development helped in developing a cost effective and ready-to-market design that enabled Analog Devices to gain wide market acceptability for convergent applications and strengthen its leadership status.
