Italdesign - Giugiaro Reduces Project Management Cycle From Months to Just Weeks or Days
Overview Italdesign-Giugiaro designs, engineers, and constructs auto body prototypes for global distribution. Italdesign-Giugiaro wanted to develop a rapid, efficient project management cycle and provide users with real-time project monitoring tools, enabling immediate reaction to changing needs. The challenge was to adopt a new management information system that helps the company to respond to changes in technical requirements, market demand, and company organization. Italdesign-Giugiaro worked with Reply, an Oracle Partner, to implement Oracle E-Business Suite applications, replacing a disparate system that relied heavily on spreadsheets and adopted a new, more flexible, project management system that drove more efficient and effective management.
