Embutidos Kreef Improves Financial and Manufacturing Processes With Integrated IT Platform
Overview El Salvador-based Embutidos Kreef processes approximately 600 tons of meat each year. Embutidos Kreef wanted to integrate disparate systems to provide easy access to information in order to facilitate management decision making and centralize financial information to accelerate accounting processes and improve administrative control. The challenge was to achieve operating efficiency to improve the company's competitiveness in delivering meat products to its clients and reduce the complexity of the company's IT infrastructure to control maintenance costs. They worked with ASI Consultant, an Oracle Partner, to implement Oracle E-Business Suite applications, creating a unified IT infrastructure that extends the visibility of administrative processes throughout the company.
