Overview EGIS Poland is a subsidiary of EGIS Ltd, one of the leading manufacturers of pharmaceuticals in Eastern Europe. EGIS Poland focuses on marketing and sales activities for EGIS and ANFARM (a Polish manufacturer of pharmaceuticals) products in Poland. In 2003, the company decided to deploy a new CRM system. This case study demonstrates the challenges and success factors in planning, implementing and introducing the system. It emerged that the deployment of CRM systems is more of a management project than an IT project.
