IDA Collaboration Portal Solution Creates Cyber Community and Cuts Staffing Costs
Overview The Society of Danish Engineers, IDA, the voice of the engineering profession in Denmark, wanted a complete system based on internet technology to improve its service to its more than 60,000 existing members and generate new income. The society is working with Microsoft and Hewlett Packard (HP) to implement an online member service, introducing new services and functionality to members including Member Relationship Management. The society can now fulfill its ambition to create a cyber community for Danish engineers and knowledge workers. By implementing the new solution, IDA already forecasts a reduction in administration costs, enabling employees' time to be used more productively.
