Deploying Cisco Catalyst 6500 Virtual Switching System 1440
Overview As campus and data center networks add real-time collaboration with applications such as Voice Over IP (VoIP) and video, demand for bandwidth increases. However, most organizations' IT budgets are not increasing at the same rate. Cisco responds to this challenge with the introduction of the Virtual Switching System (VSS) 1440, an innovative technology that enables two Cisco Catalyst 6500 switches to be pooled into a single, logical entity. This Webcast, which includes a complete implementation guide and an interactive Q&A, will demonstrate how the VSS 1440 simplifies network complexity and management by 50 percent, while scaling bandwidth to 1.4 Terabits in the existing network infrastructure.
