Business Space Provider Tightens Security, Boosts Migration Efficiency

Overview As an enterprise customer and member of the Windows Vista Technology Assistance Program (TAP), Ascendas wanted to migrate from Windows XP to the latest operating system and boost the efficiency of deployment across regional offices. The challenge was to improve the productivity of new employees and enhance its user experience. Ascendas partnered with Datacraft to deploy Windows Vista in March 2006. Currently piloted by approximately 25 users, the solution: provides Lite Touch deployment using the Business Desktop Deployment tools and enables new employees to search and find information without file structure or file location knowledge.
