Overview To maintain a competitive edge selling highly sophisticated services to a very demanding and rapidly expanding clientele, Connotate's IT leaders are constantly investigating innovations to enrich their IT environment. Connotate was approached to participate in the RDP by Microsoft through The Henson Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner specializing in Microsoft technologies that had successfully serviced Connotate in the past. At the time, Connotate was considering a competing solution offered by Cisco, in part because its network is served by Cisco switches. Based on guidance provided by The Henson Group, Windows Server 2008 quickly proved a more viable option, as much for its flexibility as for the harmony it offered with other Microsoft server technology initiatives that Connotate was planning to set in motion.
