Broker Cuts Support Costs and Keeps Sales Force Better Connected

Overview As a full-service broker, KKM needed to maintain the exceptional customer relations the company had built with customers who were spread across seven states. For this, their 36 employees, and in particular the 8 field staff needed rapid and convenient access to the company's order placement and management software, retail data analysis software, and email files. KKM decided to upgrade to Windows Server 2008 Standard. Their choice was influenced by the need for stronger performance, the cost of software and hardware, the ease of integration with the existing network, and the ability of their current staff to support the new platform. The upgrade also provided adequate support for Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows XP SP2 (desktop) running on client hardware.
