Overview Vienna-based Telekom Austria Group is a large, growing telecommunications company that serves more than 12 million customers in Austria and surrounding countries. Critical to company operations are two physically separate data centers used for managing information such as customer histories, billing information, and call center records. To provide greater availability and protection for its mission-critical information, the company is deploying Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, which will be used on an array of file server clusters. The company's IT Solutions department expects Windows Server 2008 to provide greater availability of corporate data, management tools that can streamline IT tasks, and faster file access for users.
