Bank Expects to Improve Security and Manageability With New Operating System

Overview The Standard Bank Group staff grows by an average of 20 percent annually, partly from acquisitions. Although great for business, those acquisitions have resulted in a decentralized, less consistent IT infrastructure. To create a centrally managed IT environment, the bank plans to gradually move all Windows Server - based services to Windows Server 2008. It expects this move to reduce costs and increase security, productivity, agility, and stability.
