Network Security White Papers
Internal Information Espionage
Overview Attacks from the outside are no longer the only mechanism by which espionage is occurring. Internal information espionage, or the acknowledgement of its existence, is in 2007 a topic in vogue. One need only look at the Pentagon, Department of Homeland Security, Boeing and AIG for examples of acknowledgements in 2007, which had at the core an insider as the conduit for internal information espionage. This whitepaper provides an overview the network security issues today which if left unaddressed or unresolved, allows for the environment for mass scale espionage to occur.
