Leading Higher Education Association Deploys Dynamic, Content-Rich Web Sites With Content Management Server

Overview When the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) decided to update its Web sites, the organization selected Microsoft technologies for its content management solution. The goal was to create a mission-critical, content-rich Web experience for prospective Master of Business Administration (MBA) students and the graduate management education community using the sites. With Ness Technologies as the implementation partner, GMAC redesigned and deployed its two primary Web sites, gmac.com and mba.com, using Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 and SQL Server 2000 running on the Windows 2000 Advanced Server operating system with Internet Information Services. The solution enables nontechnical content providers to create and publish rich, personalized content directly to the Web sites from their browsers or Microsoft Word.
