Arras Hospital Paves the Way for Connected Health Across Europe
Overview Arras Hospital wanted to improve quality of patient experience with better care and shorter admissions as well as raise productivity/performance via collaboration and work-process changes. The challenge was to build foundation for a Connected Hospital as part of the wider connected healthcare system. They evolved template for transformation based on public- and private-sector models. Consolidating input from key health innovators via Connected Health Think Tank and use of collaboration tools with better access to information for staff. This resulted in performance, efficiency, and quality of care supported by key innovations. There was integrated approach to patient's journey through a health system that extends to general practitioners. Bedside console for entertainment, clinical information, health education videos, and video links to schools.
