Financial Services Firm Upgrades Browser to Enhance Security and User Productivity

Overview The CUNA Mutual Group provides a broad suite of financial and member-relationship services to credit unions. The company has been a longtime user of the Microsoft Internet Explorer Internet browser and wanted to improve network security, reduce support calls, and simplify the way its 5,500 employees worked with more than 140 browser-based applications. CUNA Mutual upgraded to Windows Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP to take advantage of features such as tabbed browsing, antiphishing filters, and customizable browser settings. As a result, CUNA Mutual has enhanced network security and expects to see worker productivity increase as users become familiar with tabbed browsing and other Windows Internet Explorer 7 efficiencies.
