Visiting Nurse Service of New York - Enabling Data Access at the Point of Care
Overview Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) selected NetMotion Wireless' Mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution to provide VNSNY's home healthcare workforce with real time access to critical data and applications at the point of care. VNSNY is the largest not-for-profit home health care agency in the nation with nearly 10,000 care providers that make more than 2.2 million home visits per year throughout New York City and Westchester and Nassau counties to an average of over 30,000 patients each day. More than 2,500 VNSNY clinicians use Mobility XE, NetMotion's Mobile VPN software, to improve productivity and connect securely to applications, roam seamlessly between multiple wireless networks, and maintain applications even when users move in and out of wireless coverage areas.
