Overview Handshake Software, a software development and solutions company based in Atlanta. The company, which began in 2000, builds solutions that help employees in professional firms get easy access to Line-Of-Business (LOB) information such as legal research, documents, financial and accounting data, calendars for court dates, and client contact information. For example, in the United Kingdom, the more than 700 lawyers and employees at the Wragge & Co. law firm use a Web-based portal designed and powered by Handshake Software to compile information rapidly, freeing up more time for managing client accounts. Initially deployed on Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and using technology from Handshake, the solution provides Wragge employees with an intuitive, user-friendly technology that helps provide better service to clients and improves internal operations.
