Accountancy Firm Creates Collaborative Services With Hosted Portal Solution

Overview Belgian accountancy firm Kantoor Deweer wanted to assist its customers in self monitoring and altering their accountancy records. With a small team, the company needed to create a portal that would connect customers and employees to crucial information, with minimal management requirements. The Web site would serve as its customers' main access channel to the company. The firm engaged local Application Service Provider (ASP) and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner ASPeX to create a portal solution using the features of Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services. As a result, Kantoor Deweer's customers can access and alter their accountancy records securely. Kantoor Deweer's employees also use the portal as an intranet solution to access crucial accountancy applications from home or at a customer site.
