TechNet Webcast: Exchange Server 2007 Topologies and Routing (Level 300)

Overview In earlier versions of Microsoft Exchange Server, e-mail routing involved delivery over point-to-point networks using discrete next-hop solutions, which did not take full advantage of advancements in network technologies. The presenter of this webcast describes how e-mail routing works in the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, and looks at how IP networks and Active Directory site topologies can affect routing operations. The presenter also discusses interoperability and mail flow between Exchange Server 2007 and previous versions of Exchange Server, and recommends best practices for topology and deployment.
