MSDN Webcast: Intelligent Reporting: Using the Visual Studio 2005 Report Viewer Controls (Level 200)

Overview Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 provides report viewer controls for both Windows Forms applications and Microsoft ASP.NET applications. These controls can either take advantage of a server running Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services, or they can process reports locally, without the Reporting Services component. This webcast explains how to integrate reports into the applications. The presenter discusses the advantages of control-only and server-based approaches, demonstrates both controls, and builds an application that displays reports without requiring a Reporting Services server.
