Overview The HP ProLiant Application Storage Manager (ASM) is part of the HP ProLiant Storage Server iSCSI Feature Pack and provides the ability to configure, deploy and manage iSCSI storage on HP ProLiant Storage Servers. Application Storage Manager provides an application-based user interface for management and monitoring of Microsoft Exchange Server storage and allows to easily configure iSCSI storage and set up Exchange components (Mailbox Stores, Public Folder Stores, and Transaction Logs) on a ProLiant Storage Server. The ASM is designed to combine several steps of configuring storage into an easy to follow wizard, thus reducing or eliminating configuration errors and inconsistencies. It also provides storage management information to assist in the monitoring of storage health.
