Boston Coach Enables Ride Information to Be Transmitted Quickly and Accurately Using Handheld PCs

Overview BostonCoach is a subsidiary of Fidelity Capital and one of the leading providers of luxury transportation services in cities across the United States. The rapid growth of BostonCoach's business forced the company to seek technology that could augment radio frequencies that were becoming overcrowded, slowing the jobs of both drivers and dispatchers. After an initial attempt with limited mobile data terminals, BostonCoach deployed Handheld PCs running the Windows CE operating system and equipped with modems for sending wireless data transmissions.
