Expand Boosts Whitefriars' Network Capacity by Up to 400%
Overview The Challenges Whitefriars implemented MS Exchange email system for its users, and also upgraded to a housing management system (OHMS) to efficiently manage and maintain tenant records and information. The number of simultaneous users logging on to the network was growing steadily, with new users being added daily. The resulting heavy bandwidth usage caused network bottlenecks at user locations, adversely affecting user productivity. Whitefriars had to find a speedy and cost-effective means to increase overall network capacity and improve the end-users' QoE. Upon the recommendation of IKON Technology Solutions, a UK-based systems integrator, Whitefriars decided to utilize Expand's quick-to-deploy Accelerators after a successful pilot test at its Willenhall office.
