Handling the Boom Times at Brisbane's Port With Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Overview Responsible for managing Australia's fastest growing container port, the Port of Brisbane Corporation (PBC) needed a more efficient way to build and maintain its diverse relationships with customers, partners and suppliers. This would allow it to provide better service, resulting in closer and stronger relationships. However, PBC's previous Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution did not provide the functionality or ease of use required. PBC decided to switch to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 and worked with IT solutions provider Brightfox to create a centralized repository of customer data that sits neatly alongside the Microsoft Office system. From Microsoft Office Outlook, employees can access Microsoft CRM sales, marketing and customer service modules to make decisions and market products.
