Education Institution Achieves 30 Percent Time Saving With Integrated Messaging

Overview Taylor's University College (Taylor's College) in Malaysia has 800 staff and provides pre-university, diploma, and degree courses to students at five campuses. The previous Lotus Notes messaging application used by the college could not meet its growing multi-location collaboration and communication needs. The college wanted messaging software that is easy for its staff to use, requires minimal training, and provides seamless integration with its existing Microsoft technology platform. In November 2006 Taylor's College chose to migrate to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2. The solution has resulted in the college achieving up to 30 percent time-savings from better scheduling, improved workplace efficiency, significant cost savings, and seamless integration with the existing Active Directory environment.
