Extending Microsoft Operations Manager With MetiLinx

Overview Until now, Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) has managed Microsoft Windows 2000 and 2003 servers for Microsoft customers. Now MetiLinx, with the MetiLinx Connect for MOM extends MOM management into Linux and UNIX computers, by providing UNIX and Linux computer discovery plus UNIX and Linux performance alerting and management. In addition, MetiLinx has integrated its dynamic resource utilization capabilities into MOM, so that additions or deletions of computing resources (servers, partitions, nodes) through MetiLinx will be reflected in real-time within MOM.
