SAP Business One Delivers Real Efficiency Gains, Better Reporting and Business Control
Overview Founded nearly ten years ago, Tacktick has grown very rapidly to become a leading supplier of specialist marine electronics, including wireless full instrument systems. Tacktick's business model is to design and market its products, but subcontract the actual manufacturing. However, the company still buys the electronic components that are required. In choosing a new system a major requirement was the inclusion of assembly trees, a key factor in helping Tacktick maintain the accurate control of its stock that is needed. But, at the same time, Tacktick didn't want the overheads of a traditional Material Requirements Planning system. The company reviewed what was available and eventually narrowed the field down to three possibilities, one of which was SAP Business One.
