Fuji Xerox Establishes a Global Management System
Overview Fuji Xerox Korea has emerged as one of the leaders in the high-technology industry in the country. The company is headquartered in Seoul and maintains a production facility in Incheon, one hour west of Seoul. Prior to 2003, Fuji Xerox affiliates were using different systems and had difficulty sharing relevant information and communicating with each other. Fuji Xerox needed to establish an integrated management system that had the capacity to cope with customer demands, assist in providing products in a timely manner, and reduce manufacturing costs. To integrate dispersed business systems, Fuji Xerox implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its new business management platform, with plans to set up a global single instance of the software by 2008.
