Overview Maxxium Worldwide is an international sales, marketing, and distribution network for premium brands of wine and spirits. By 2001, the company had grown globally to include subsidiaries in 35 countries connected via a closed frame relay network. Employees and local finance staff had to manually send files to headquarters for entry. As the company grew, reporting and financial consolidation became increasingly difficult. Maxxium needed a way to extract and pass on data to each shareholder partner through a unified application. The company turned to Hyperion solutions from Oracle to help it merge each of its local distribution networks into a single Web-based solution.
