Australian Finance Group Grows Loan Portfolio to A$35 Billion in Five Years
Overview In 2001, Australian Finance Group (AFG) developed a five-year strategy to implement a new, integrated technology platform to help it win a bigger share of the booming Australian residential mortgage market. With brokers playing a major role in facilitating housing loans, a key objective was to develop a tool for brokers that supported sales activities, enhanced customer service, and improved business efficiency. AFG selected Siebel CRM Financial Services solution from Oracle as the foundation of its new technology platform, called FLEX. AFG staff use FLEX to manage brokers, calculate commissions, and oversee sales and business development activities. More than 80% of the company's broker network uses FLEX to source loan products, lodge applications, manage customers, and generate leads.
