Overview Pitico began operating in Mexico in 1972 and within a few years became the first self-service supermarket in the city of Oxaca. Pitico wanted to establish a stable and flexible data infrastructure to optimize performance throughout the organization and improve employee productivity. It also consolidated information in a single data repository, improving visibility into all business operations and driving more informed decisions.
