Gales Casa Cambiaria Integrates Information in a Single Robust Database
Overview Gales Casa Cambiaria wanted to integrate information in a robust, high-availability database in order to update information online and in real time throughout the organization and improve operating efficiency, accelerating business processes such as currency exchange service and Western Union money transfers to offer excellent client service. The challenge was to develop a data warehouse to allow the organization to analyze critical information and improve decision making. The company worked with Tilsor Tecnologia Informatica to integrate information into a single robust, high-availability database with Oracle Database, centralizing information and allowing for better interconnection among branches. It used Oracle Fusion Middleware to unify operations among the central office and the five branches throughout the country, improving operational efficiency and service to 10,000 continuing customers.
