Overview A world-leading specialty chemicals company, Johnson Matthey Plc has operations in more than 30 countries. The company wanted to prevent confidential documents from being lost or misdirected when being compiled and shared in-house or with partners and gain full audit trail of document use internally and externally. The challenge was to authorize and revoke end-user access rights centrally. The company implemented Oracle Information Rights Management to secure and track access to sensitive documents through advanced cryptography, tamper-proofing, and screen-grab protection. It gained the ability to grant and terminate access or contributor rights to named individuals for each classified document internally and beyond the firewall.
