Making 800,000 Email Messages Per Month Safe and Spam-Free With Symantec

Overview Radio Caracas TeleVision (RCTV), one of the mainstays of broadcast media in Venezuela, was battling with viruses, spam, and spyware contained in the 800,000 or more email messages it receives each month. In addition, malicious hackers were attacking the station's two public Web sites. RCTV turned to Symantec for a comprehensive set of threat management solutions to protect its servers, desktops, and email and Web gateways. As a result, RCTV has successfully stymied the hackers, stifled the spam, optimized IT staff resources, and eliminated disruptions due to malicious code.
