Overview Aero Technics Design Ltd, based near London Heathrow, UK, offers a specialist design and certification service for interior modifications to commercial, VIP and corporate aircraft, including interior refurbishments, reconfigurations and equipment redesigns. The company's challenge was to perform internal reconfigurations and modifications to commercial, VIP and corporate aircraft, to comply with stringent industry regulations. The company also wanted to work rapidly to meet time deadlines demanded by aviation customers. The company use Solid Edge software's 3D modeling to accurately plan aircraft interior reconfigurations to enhance design speed and accuracy using simplified parts and assemblies with parameterize aircraft seats and monuments to quickly generate models of aircraft interiors.
