Red Bull Racing's design team has approximately 150 workstations running the fully integrated CAD/CAM/CAE suite, NX, along with the web-centric Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and visualization capabilities of Teamcenter. The Team's Formula One car was developed entirely in software, beginning with a definition of functional requirements and Formula One regulations and proceeding to an assembly tree and geometric part models for the entire vehicle.
