Overview Ascom Electronic Industrial Services (EIS) wanted to employ an integrated system that speeds up conversion of design data into manufacturing data. Ascom Electronic Industrial Services (EIS), a part of Ascom Security Solutions Division of Ascom, uses the NPI and MES components of the Tecnomatix digital manufacturing solution to speed up the conversion of design data into manufacturing data, identify and correct quality problems and build a comprehensive knowledge base that is exploited to continuously improve the manufacturing process and provide transparent quality information both in-house and to customers.
