Overview Weir Warman creates a collaborative global product development environment that eliminates the costs of shipping documents and heavy freight around the world. The company wanted to improve collaboration between engineers based around the world and eliminate costs and delays of document shipping with Permit localized manufacturing to minimize freight costs. Weir Warman chose NX as its core solution for digital product development, and coupled it with the Teamcenter solution to create a collaborative managed development environment. Adopting NX and utilizing Teamcenter for managed development environment is a major part of strategy to help and manage the documents and engineering expertise so that information can be shared with sister companies worldwide.
