Overview ANCA was founded in 1974 to design and manufacture high technology computer numerical control (CNC) machines for the machine tool and metal-based industries. ANCA PTY, Ltd. wanted to effectively compete with Western manufacturers of CNC machines and decrease production engineering time to maintain and expand markets. The company implemented a "Concept-to-customers" product development approach and used solid models to visualize complex assemblies. They used collaboration tools that allow for the integration and synchronization of all product data and process knowledge across a global product development environment.
