Overview Founded in 1954, Shenyang Liming Aero-Engine Group Corporation (Liming) is China's first jet-propelled aircraft engine manufacturer and one of the country's key development projects. Shenyang Liming Aero-Engine Group wanted to create a lean enterprise and reduce costs. The challenge was to shrink product development cycle and improve quality. The company employed single digital model from design through manufacturing. It used PLM solution to: enhance engineering/manufacturing collaboration, improve flow of information throughout the enterprise, and increase knowledge re-use.
