TechNet Webcast: Improving Desktop Security and Deployment (Part 3 of 7): Network Diagnostics in Windows Vista (Level 200)

Overview This webcast examines two new network diagnostics technologies that are built into the Windows Vista operating system: the Network Connectivity Status Indicator (NCSI), and the Network Diagnostics Framework (NDF). Both of these features are brand new features in Windows, and replace existing features that have seen before in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. These features can help to identify and repair many common network-related issues quickly without requiring the use of the command line tools that have had to use in the past.
