Overview Demand on local service providers, already greater than ever, continues to mount at an incredible pace. Rapid growth in fax transmissions, internet traffic and point-of-sales transactions call for greater bandwidth and additional lines. That's where Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) technology can play such an important role. The client, an European Telecom OEM entrusted Aricent with the responsibility of developing the Embedded Element Management System and the Network Management System for the entire DSL Network elements. Aricent developed EMS would include features for Monitoring and Configuration of DSL Line cards and other equipments e.g. LEDs, Relays etc. The Network Management includes the management of Several EMSs.
