Design & Implementation of a Home Subscriber Server Solution
Overview The customer is a Tier OEM and a leading solutions provider in Japan focussing on IT-Network integrated solutions and Semiconductor solutions. The company wanted to keep track of the continuously evolving IMS specifications. The challenge was to implement a carrier grade, network deployable Home Subscriber Server solution. Aricent undertook full responsibility and ownership for the complete development of Home Subscriber Server (HSS). This resulted in in-depth expertise in the wireless domain and 3GPP specifications related to IMS. High level of system engineering knowledge in the architecture and evaluation of the hardware and software for HLR/HSS product line and reduction of costs, time and interop risks due to existing IPRs and use of pre-existing solutions.
