Overview A global operator of a constellation of geostationary satellites providing solutions to enterprise, maritime, and aeronautical users. The company wanted to enhance the performance of the customer's satellite-based data communications system. The challenge was to develop TCP acceleration algorithms over a delay link and to design a low-cost, high-capacity, and high-reliability solution. The company enhanced performance of the end user's application by using TCP accelerators, solution's implementation for multiple operating systems and a carrier-grade Network Platform product, capable of performing continuously under high sustained and peak loads.
