Testing a Radio Network Controller in UMTS Infrastructure

Overview The company wanted to test a Radio Network Controller (RNC) in a UMTS infrastructure using Catapult DCT-2000 and quick ramp-up of the geographically diversified Aricent team on the customer's test bed/configuration and Catapult DCT-2000. The challenge was to set up an extensive testing laboratory at the customer's location. With its proven end-to-end testing expertise and well designed testing strategy, Aricent was uniquely positioned to leverage the customer's investments in its products. Aricent provided significant expertise in Network Element Integration/Deliverable Testing, Network Element Feature Testing, Network Element System/Regression Testing, and automating the test procedures.
