Overview The company wanted to help the customer meet an extremely challenging release path for a Network Processor-based Content Service Gateway (CSG), by working as an extended part of its team. Fast ramp up on the customer's CSG solution, based on obsolete Network Processors. The company wanted to provide the customer Aricent expertise in developing solutions for the IXP series of Network Processors and TCP/IP. To develop the various modules of the CSG platform across the control and the data planes on the IXP series of Network Processors and to sustain the customer's CSG platform on IXP 1200 series of Network Processors and PowerPC-based host processors.
