Developing and Testing an IMS Application Server
Overview The company is a Tier European OEM providing voice, video, and data delivery solutions to Carriers, ISPs, and enterprises. The company wanted to develop and test a high performance IMS Application Server and integrate the Application Sever with the customer's existing IMS network components. The challenge was to keep pace with continuously evolving IMS standards and the customer's aggressive deadlines. As a solution the company developed and tested a robust, highly available, and scalable IMS Application Server and carried out Load and Stability testing of the Application Server using simulators and real IMS network components. The challenge was to meet the customer's aggressive development and testing schedules leading to a considerable reduction in project development costs.
