TechNet Webcast: Software Update Management With System Center Configuration Manager (Level 300)

Overview Significant changes have been made to Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager capabilities for assessing compliance, and also deployment and installation of software updates. This webcast highlights and demonstrates key software update management improvements, including: deep integration with Windows Server Update Services; using a policy-based infrastructure to deploy software updates; better performance on clients; managing non-Microsoft software updates with the System Center Update Publisher tool; and simplifying the administrative experience of managing updates. The presenter shows how software update management is integrated with other Configuration Manager features such as Network Access Protection (NAP), maintenance windows, and Internet-based clients.
