Functional Testing for Business Communication and Data Services Products
Overview The company is a leading global provider of innovative business communications and data services. Customers use their ASP platform to conduct traditional and VoIP-based collaboration sessions and to process and deliver large quantities of individualized, business critical information. The company has an excellent development arm but wanted to have some expertise in terms of testing to ensure it provided excellent products. AppLabs' engineers designed and executed tests to verify the basic functionality of the applications under test and performed a full regression test for each and every release. Thorough 'Permission testing' was conducted to verify that the rules to ensure authorized use were not compromised. In some of the more complex areas of testing, live simulations are carried out wherever possible to ensure that the products work as intended.
