Extending Multimedia Communication Services to a Global Workforce

Overview Monster Worldwide is a global supplier of career consulting and management services for large, medium and small corporate accounts, providing services to job seekers ranging from resume creation and posting, to interviewing and job seeking strategies. Monster Technologies was searching for a cost-effective way to extend communication services to workers located across the globe. They also wanted to improve communications with their IT staff when they were away from the office. The company introduced Nortel's award-winning Multimedia Communication Server (MCS) 5100 into its existing data and voice network to enhance communication, enable increased productivity and provide support for a remote workforce. Using the MCS 5100, they were able to extend multimedia communication services to employees located overseas, eliminating the need for costly equipment in remote locations.
